Nila Odom

Nila is the mother of three adult children and “Nina” to 11 grandchildren. Spending time making memories with her family means everything to Nila. Nila worked in the corporate world for 39 years. Following retirement, she worked in women’s ministry at IBC for more than eight years. Nila was raised in a strong Christian family and accepted Christ at age 12. However, it was later in life that Nila formed a close, personal relationship with Jesus. Nila believes God led her to become a deacon because of her desire and love to serve Jesus by serving others.
