Youth at IBC

At Irving Bible Church, our youth community is a vibrant mix of teenagers united in their pursuit of Jesus. Our goal is to help each young person discover their identity, belonging, and purpose as they grow in their faith journey. Together, we're committed to following Jesus and making a positive impact on the world around us.

Summer 2024

We're switching up our schedule this summer! Join us for big service in the Worship Center every Sunday at 10:45 a.m. (except June 23 and 21). Plus we're swapping out Youth Nights for other fun events throughout the summer weeks. Download our summer calendar for all the ways you can plug in.

Youth Summer Calendar

School-year Schedule

We've got three main ways for our youth to connect with God and each other throughout the school year.

Youth Bible Study

Every Sunday (except first Sundays) · 10:45 a.m.

We encourage all our youth to regularly engage in peer-led Bible study sessions as they strive to grow in their understanding of Jesus’ teachings and their role in the world.

Every Sunday (excluding the first Sunday of the month) during the school year, our 6th to 12th graders come together in our Youth Worship Room and Youth lounge for Bible Study. These gatherings take place primarily in same-grade and same-gender groups, fostering a safe and supportive environment for spiritual growth.

Youth Nights

Wednesday Nights · 6:30 p.m.

We believe that we are a sent people, and we encourage our teenagers to reach out and invite their friends who may not know the hope and love of Jesus. Youth Nights are open to all and the perfect opportunity for teens to hang out, play games, share a free meal, and hear a topical message together in a fun and safe environment.

First Sundays

First Sunday of the month · 10:45 a.m.

We hold the belief that all Christians, including our youth, play a vital role within the church community. It’s a core value for us that believers regularly engage in corporate worship and reflect Christ’s hospitality by sharing meals together.

On the first Sunday of each month, our 6th to 12th graders gather in a designated section of the Worship Center during the second service. Following the service, we come together in small groups for lunch at the Youth Lounge.
