Herbert Yoo

Herbert Yoo joined IBC staff in 2024 and currently serves as the Connections Pastor, helping everyone who walks through our doors feel welcomed, cared for, and loved—just as they are. A Maryland native, Herbert moved to Texas for seminary and has been here ever since. He lives in Farmers Branch with his wife, Hyejin, and their two sons Roy and Henry. In his free time, you can find Herbert bowling (badly) or playing video games. Herbert thinks IBC is a reflection of what heaven looks like, and would love to help you find your place here.
