Chad Golden

Chad Golden (of Chats with Chad fame) currently serves as IBC's Discipleship Pastor, helping people follow Jesus and grow in their love of God and neighbor. He also leads our deacon ministry, providing an infrastructure of care to everyone who calls IBC home. Born and raised in Texas, Chad currently lives in Lewisville with his wife Rene, their son Micah, and their dogs Jackson and Luke. Chad is known by his coworkers as the king of obscure sports, but his favorites are disc golf and pickleball. He can also be found reading nerdy books or honing his coffee-making skills. Chad’s prayer for IBC is that we would continually point both our congregation and our community toward Jesus.
