Mark Mercer
Mark has been a member of IBC since 1975. He has taught Sunday School for children as well as adults. He was involved with the men’s canoe trip in the mid to late 80’s. From 1991 to 2019 he and his late wife Susie were sent as missionaries to Nairobi, Kenya where he and Susie worked with the Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (now Africa International University). In 2019 they retired and moved back to Irving. Mark attends the Legacy adult community and helps out with teaching the class. Mark has three grown children and eight grandchildren.
