God's Big Story

In the beginning, God made everything and called it good. 

God made the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, and he called them very good. 

God walked and talked with Adam and Eve. God was with them. 

God made everything and he is in charge of everything. He had one, good rule for Adam and Eve. One day, they broke the one, good rule. 

Sin entered the world, and God's good creation became sick with sin and death. 

Sin separated Adam and Eve from God. Sin separates us from God too. 

But, God had a rescue plan... 

...God so loved the world that he sent Jesus to be born as a baby, live a perfect life, die on the cross for the sin of the world, and raise to life on the third day! 

Right now, Jesus is in heaven, ruling and reigning as King over all of creation. 

Because of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, everyone who loves and trusts Jesus is forgiven of their sin and adopted into God's family. 

One day he will return for all who love and trust him and they will be with him forever! 

While God's people wait for Jesus to return, we've been given the Holy Spirit to be with us. God's family can walk and talk with God whenever they want because the Holy Spirit is with them. 

At Easter, we celebrate Jesus, who came to die so we could live. 

JESUS IS RISEN!
