Reopening

Our plan for reopening our building for worship and ministry

Please take a few minutes to watch this update from our Senior Pastor, Barry Jones:

As Barry mentioned in the video above, our Sunday worship services and regular ministry programming will remain online for the time being. However, we hope to host some new outdoor worship gatherings to supplement our online Sunday services.

Criteria for Reopening

Specifically, we are looking for two weeks of decline in key metrics related to the spread of the coronavirus and the capacity of our healthcare system in Irving. Positive movement related to the management of the pandemic will allow us to take positive steps in reopening our building.

What’s Our Next Step?

Our current phase of the reopening plan will include outdoor worship experiences, online Sunday worship services, as well as outdoor and in-person opportunities for our Next Gen ministries. We're also working hard to finalize our protocols and training for our staff and volunteers for the return of indoor worship services and ministry experiences.

Worshiping Together Indoors

We will need to see two additional weeks of decline in key metrics related to the spread of the coronavirus and the capacity of our healthcare system in Irving before we progress to the indoor phase of reopening. We hope this is sooner rather than later, but once again, the exact timing will be driven by the data that reflects what’s happening in our community.

The good news is that this phase includes the reopening of our building for indoor Sunday worship services and ministry programming. To support this reentry into our building for worship, we’ll have protocols in place to help keep everyone as safe as possible. At the same time, we’ll continue to provide excellent online worship experiences and outdoor worship gatherings.

Thank you for praying with us as we work together toward reopening.
